After opening this in file explorer i found the extension setting for the bitwarden extension (verify your extension id) and i deleted it I have started to use passkeys with a few websites that support them but have found bitwarden to be unreliable in accepting and storing new passkeys and providing passkeys to websites. After that i was able to have the user open edge and the extension worked.

While browsing through the ms edge settings, i discovered that the “notifications” option was set to “block” for bitwarden Now, bitwarden locks properly after i stop using bitwarden for at least 30 minutes. I changed it to “ask” and it works now.

The ios app, the web vault, the chrome store and the edge extensions are all not working for me

I can type in my master password, but it gets stuck on the authenticator window Ever since the recenet update of bitwarden my autofill in edge on desktop doesn’t work I have to open bitwarden and select “autofill” for it to complete the login. I am evaluating bitwarden as a potential replacement for my current password keeper

I have had this problem now for several weeks, and support only says this problem will probably be fixed in a future release. Whenever i click on the bitwarden icon to access my logon details for a particular website, the pulldown window pops out of the browser and i lose the ability to fill in the login information for that website by simply clicking on the corresponding entry inside bitwarden. I got around this issue by setting my bitwarden vault timeout to “30 minutes” (timeout could be set to any other hour/minute setting)
